About the role#
As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting product and process quality across our manufacturing operations. You will work with the Quality team to identify and resolve quality issues, maintain documentation, and support continuous improvement efforts. You will collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
What you'll do#
- Support Quality Department staff with daily operations.
- Review and update quality documentation while maintaining accurate company records.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to correct and prevent quality issues.
- Assist in problem-solving and implementing solutions to quality-related problems.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Assist staff with the disposition of defective material.
- Report and respond to quality process nonconformance issues in an expedient manner.
- Work inter-functionally with Quality and Manufacturing teams.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all customers.
- Actively participate in group and team meetings.
- Proactively complete assigned tasks and participate in additional training as required.
What you'll need#
- Current student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Creo.

- This position is based in a manufacturing environment which may involve exposure to noise, dust, moving machinery, or temperature fluctuations. You may need to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, or use required personal protective equipment.
