About the role#
This is a summer 2027 internship position based in Dodge Center, Minnesota. You will work within the Global Procurement Supply Chain team to support purchasing and sourcing operations. This is a full-time, on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Set up and maintain existing suppliers in the Pierce database.
- Prepare weekly reports for department leads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather part drawings and technical information.
- Act as a liaison between the procurement and engineering departments to share updated drawings with suppliers.
- Help the team manage past due orders and address critical supply shortages.
- Assist with internal training for the supplier portal and contribute to department improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Logistics.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize your workload to meet deadlines.
