About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship for the 2027 season. You will work on-site in Bradenton, Florida, assisting our engineering and design teams with daily operations. This role focuses on supporting the production and development of custom emergency vehicles.
What you'll do#
- Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and electrical schematics using CAD software.
- Prepare Bills of Material to support new product development and production.
- Generate Engineering Change Notices to release revised models and drawings.
- Assist engineers with material selection for specific parts.
- Follow standard operating procedures, CAD guidelines, and drafting standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate degree program for Mechanical Design or a related engineering field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week throughout the summer.
- Experience with CATIA or similar CAD design software.
- Proficiency with linear measurements in both Imperial and Metric systems.
- Strong attention to detail plus clear verbal and written communication skills.
