About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will design reliable and functional electrical systems. You will provide product definition through documentation and bills of material for new and revised designs. Your work focuses on optimizing designs for manufacturing efficiency, reducing part counts, and eliminating waste.
What you'll do#
- Prepare engineering drawings, layouts, and schematics using computer aided design software.
- Create Bills of Material (BOM).
- Dimension and tolerance drawings to ensure proper assembly fit.
- Prepare engineering change notices (ECN).
- Support manufacturing with direction on electrical and multiplexing related questions, features, and upgrades.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
- Commitment to remain enrolled in your degree program for the entire duration of the internship.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
