    About the role#

    As an Electrification Engineering Intern, you will work with the engineering team to design functional and reliable high voltage electrical systems for heavy-duty vehicles. You will assist in the development and integration of these systems into both new and existing vehicle platforms.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform basic engineering calculations, data collection, and analysis.
    • Support the preparation of designs, technical documentation, and reports.
    • Assist with electrical component research, selection, and design activities.
    • Help design, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
    • Assist with software development, including writing code, creating scripts, and analyzing data.
    • Support system integration and validation activities.
    • Ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
    • Collaborate with various engineering groups and maintain effective communication with customers.
    • Follow and promote shop safety practices.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

    • Location: Greencastle, Pennsylvania.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Employment Type: Full time.
    • This role involves a mix of office-based work and tasks on the shop floor, which may include walking on various terrains, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
