About the role#
As an Electrification Engineer Intern for the summer of 2027, you will work alongside Oshkosh engineers on projects that help you gain technical experience. You will support the design and integration of high voltage components while contributing to the development of our specialty and access equipment.
What you'll do#
- Support engineers in the design and integration of high voltage components.
- Select parts based on weight, cost, reliability, and manufacturing requirements.
- Perform basic engineering calculations and investigations.
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines, business support teams, and suppliers.
- Review component integration requirements and provide guidance.
- Use 3D modeling software to design parts, review integration, and create drawings.
- Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot, or production builds and testing.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Willingness to relocate or travel to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, for the duration of the summer 2027 internship.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
- The internship term is scheduled for Summer 2027.
