About the role#
The Digital Technology Intern will work with senior developers and project managers to build mobile-first enterprise applications. You will gain hands-on experience using modern web technologies to create high-performance user interfaces. This role involves building new features, optimizing UI performance, and troubleshooting production issues.
What you'll do#
- Translate UI/UX mockups and functional specifications into responsive, reusable front-end components.
- Design, run, and monitor software performance tests on new and existing interfaces.
- Identify and troubleshoot client-side technical issues, such as browser and device compatibility or state management.
- Participate in code reviews to learn enterprise coding standards.
- Perform component testing and assist with feature implementation through CI/CD pipelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associates or Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of web development languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.
- Basic understanding of version control systems such as Git and GitHub.
