About the role#
Oshkosh AeroTech is hiring an Accounting Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based in Roy, Utah. You will support the finance team by completing analytical projects and assisting with core accounting processes.
What you'll do#
- Support inventory closing processes.
- Review and verify vendor and customer statements, including follow-up tasks.
- Maintain accurate standard costs for inventory.
- Assist with the costing of trucks and the preparation of month-end reporting.
- Help with Fixed Asset accounting.
- Create reports and Excel files using business metric data.
- Work on process improvements to remove non-value-added tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) during the summer and part-time during the school year.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
