About the role#
The Test Development Engineering Internship at our East Fishkill facility provides hands-on experience in semiconductor manufacturing. You will support wafer sort operations and analog circuit development while working alongside engineering and equipment teams in a high-volume production environment. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with equipment technicians to set up and qualify wafer sort equipment for new products.
- Assist with wafer sort process development, troubleshooting, and equipment readiness.
- Participate in schematic reviews and support component selection based on design requirements.
- Support the evaluation and verification of analog circuitry through simulation and testing.
- Analyze engineering data and document findings, test results, and recommendations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support ongoing engineering projects and process improvements.
- Present project outcomes and technical learnings at the end of your internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Interest in semiconductors, electronics, and hardware development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, hands-on engineering environment.
