About the role#
onsemi is seeking a Manufacturing Integration Engineer Intern to join the team at our Hopewell Junction site for the Summer 2027 term. This position offers exposure to semiconductor manufacturing and the chance to contribute to the development of next-generation power technologies. You will work in a manufacturing environment and gain experience with technical problem-solving.
What you'll do#
- Support efforts to improve manufacturing stability for next-generation trench technologies.
- Apply your understanding of CpK and structured problem-solving skills to daily operations.
- Identify and implement creative AI solutions to optimize or automate routine tasks.
- Work directly within a manufacturing setting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Practical experience in programming and AI.
- Coursework or background in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies including DOE, statistical analysis, SPC, 6-sigma, and FMEA.
- Good communication skills.
