About the role#
HexCoded is an AI video studio building tools that change how video, image, and audio are made. As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will join our small team to manage content production and community engagement. This is a remote, paid, full-time internship with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Create content including reels, shorts, posts, hooks, thumbnails, and captions, often using our own tools.
- Manage freelance video editors by writing briefs, providing references, and overseeing deadlines.
- Build and maintain our Discord community by welcoming members and starting conversations.
- Write and manage email communications for new signups, product announcements, and re-engagement campaigns.
- Write ad copy based on performance data to improve future results.
- Monitor metrics like views, saves, Discord joins, and signups to refine your content strategy.
What you'll need#
- A social media account you have personally managed. We want to see links and real numbers, including the posts that did not perform well.
- Strong taste. You can explain exactly why a specific thumbnail wins in a clear, concise sentence.
- Experience using AI for actual work. You have used AI to automate tasks, save time, or build tools, and you are ready to use tools like Claude Code.
- Short, clear writing skills for social media copy.
- Deep familiarity with online social media trends and the ability to identify why specific formats succeed or fail.
