About the role#
As a drafting student intern at Olsson, you will support engineers and designers on data center projects. You will work with Revit to help create facility infrastructure and HVAC designs. This role is a full-time, paid position that offers hands-on experience in engineering services.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers and designers with Revit tasks.
- Contribute to project production sheets for facility infrastructure.
- Help develop HVAC designs.
- Add dimension and layout plans to drawings.
- Create title and detail sheets.
- Perform quantity estimating for projects.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of an associate degree in computer-aided design drafting.
- Working knowledge of Revit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
