About the role#
As an electrical engineering intern at Olsson, you will perform hands-on work on projects for commercial developments, hospitals, laboratories, schools, and military facilities. This role connects your classroom studies to real-world engineering tasks.
What you'll do#
- Create construction documents and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Assist with electrical design services, including power distribution, lighting, and electrical modeling.
- Work alongside experienced staff and engineers on project teams.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical or architectural engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to solve problems and contribute to a team.

- This position is based in Lincoln, Nebraska.
- The role is on-site.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
