About the role#
As a summer 2027 civil engineering intern on our Data Centers Site Design team, you will contribute to complex engineering projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects that support critical infrastructure. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the creation of construction plans, including site layout, grading, stormwater, and utilities.
- Use AutoCAD to draft and design site elements.
- Conduct research to support project requirements.
- Write technical reports.
- Travel to job sites to observe ongoing work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for civil engineering.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
