Technology Operations (Service Desk) Student

About the role#

This is a full-time student position for the Fall 2026 term (September – December). You will join the IT Connect Services team to support the delivery of secure, stable, and available technology services. This role offers exposure to various operational areas, including technology service management, cloud operations, infrastructure, and network support.

What you'll do#

• Execute day-to-day service delivery and resolve technical support issues to ensure quality outcomes.
• Support the implementation, testing, and integration of new applications to maintain system stability.
• Research and maintain awareness of existing and emerging technology trends.
• Build and maintain working relationships across various business areas to promote technology best practices.
• Maintain an overall perspective of current relevant technologies and processes.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a post-secondary program focusing on Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or Project Management.
• Practical experience in an information technology field, specifically within at least one IT domain.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with highly developed verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to self-motivate, learn new skills, and work effectively both independently and within a team.
