Front End Developer Student

About the role#

This is a full-time student position for the Fall 2026 term (September – December). Reporting to the Senior Manager of Digital Solution Development, you will support design and development practices within an agile environment. This role is strictly on-site in either Toronto or Sault Ste. Marie.

What you'll do#

• Gather business requirements from the lab team.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Collaborate with the development team to design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Develop user-facing features and build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Execute unit tests to ensure consistency across devices and browsers.
• Identify potential solution risks or issues and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a program related to Computer Science, Graphic Design, or Computer Engineering.
• A sound interest in designing and developing user interfaces and Single Page Apps.
• A working knowledge of programming languages and frameworks, including JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Node.js, React/Vue.js, and RESTful APIs.
• Strong communication skills to support technology and operations partners.
• High attention to detail, with strong time-management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities.

• Compensation: $18.50 - $28.50 per hour.
