As an Ancillary Services Student, you will provide operational and administrative support to the Ancillary Services team. This role involves managing mail and courier services, maintaining office and kitchen supplies, and assisting with general office coordination and events. You will report to the Manager of Ancillary Services and gain exposure to various programs across the portfolio.
What you'll do#
- Sort, track, and distribute incoming mail and courier deliveries.
- Prepare and send outgoing mail and overnight courier shipments.
- Maintain office spaces by restocking stationery and office supplies.
- Support the upkeep of shared kitchen areas by replenishing supplies and keeping spaces tidy.
- Assist with meeting room setups, basic coordination tasks, and internal events.
- Provide backup support for team members during vacation periods.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program (college or university).
- A strong interest in administration, customer service, facilities, or office operations.
- Previous experience in customer service, office support, retail, hospitality, or volunteering.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
