Software Engineer – 2027 Internship Program (June Start)

About the role#

This internship program is designed for students to work alongside software engineers on impactful solutions that support the firm's market initiatives. As a member of a smaller team, you will receive direct mentorship and contribute to projects that influence daily operations. You will gain a firsthand look at electronic trading systems and the creative programming required to support them.

What you'll do#

• Support the development of C++ based trading applications and tools.
• Work directly with engineers, traders, and other teams on projects that contribute to the firm's daily activities.
• Gain exposure to trading theory and the systems built to support it.
• Participate in regular sessions with senior engineers to cover the fundamentals of internal systems and tools.
• Receive real-time feedback from the engineers you work alongside.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• At least junior standing, with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: C++, Python, or TypeScript.
• A solid grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and systems.
• A genuine interest in markets and the role software plays in supporting them.

• Compensation: Paid position with a base salary range of $150,000 - $200,000.
