About the role#
This internship program is designed for students to work alongside software engineers on impactful solutions that support the firm's market initiatives. As a member of a smaller team, you will receive direct mentorship and contribute to projects that influence daily operations. You will gain a firsthand look at electronic trading systems and the creative programming required to support them.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of C++ based trading applications and tools.
- Work directly with engineers, traders, and other teams on projects that contribute to the firm's daily activities.
- Gain exposure to trading theory and the systems built to support it.
- Participate in regular sessions with senior engineers to cover the fundamentals of internal systems and tools.
- Receive real-time feedback from the engineers you work alongside.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field.
- At least junior standing, with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: C++, Python, or TypeScript.
- A solid grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and systems.
- A genuine interest in markets and the role software plays in supporting them.

- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: Paid position with a base salary range of $150,000 - $200,000.
