About the role#
OhioGuidestone offers a clinical internship for students pursuing a Bachelor of Social Work. This is a paid, full-time position that provides hands-on experience in community behavioral health. You will work directly with clients and clinical staff to support treatment goals.
What you'll do#
- Build therapeutic relationships with clients to provide individual, group, or family therapy.
- Advocate for client needs and recommend appropriate clinical or support services.
- Participate in team meetings, treatment conferences, and clinical discussions.
- Manage regular communication with parents, outside agencies, and assigned professionals.
- Complete necessary documentation and paperwork accurately and on time.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.
- A valid Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record and valid insurance is required.
- You must be able to pass pre-employment screenings, which include drug tests and background checks.

- This internship is on-site at locations in Cleveland, Columbus, Canton, New Philadelphia, Fairlawn, Defiance, and Napoleon, Ohio.
- The internship term is rolling.
