About the role#
As an Associates Clinical Intern, you will work within a community behavioral health setting. This position is a paid internship opportunity for students currently enrolled in an Associates Human Services program. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting clients and working alongside professional staff.
What you'll do#
- Build therapeutic relationships with clients to provide individual, group, or family therapy.
- Manage regular communication with assigned professionals, parents, and outside agencies.
- Perform minor case management and support services.
- Engage in treatment conferences, team meetings, and clinical discussions.
- Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork within required timelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associates Human Services Degree program at Tri-C or LCCC.
- A valid Ohio Driver’s License, a safe driving record, and valid insurance.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including background checks, drug tests, physical examinations, and TB tests.
