About the role#
OhioGuidestone is seeking a Clinical Intern to join our team. This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity. We operate on a rolling basis and provide a structured environment for students to gain hands-on experience in mental health care.
What you'll do#
- Build therapeutic relationships with clients to provide individual, group, or family therapy.
- Handle minor case management tasks and provide support services.
- Advocate for the needs of clients and offer recommendations for clinical services.
- Engage in treatment conferences and team meetings.
- Manage all required documentation and paperwork to ensure it is accurate and submitted on time.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master’s Degree program for Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Active MFT-T trainee status.
- A valid Ohio Driver’s License, a safe driving record, and valid insurance.
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings, which include drug tests and background checks.

- This is an on-site role available in Cleveland, Columbus, Fairlawn, and Canton, Ohio.
- This position is paid and does not provide sponsorship.
