Description: JOB INFORMATION Job Title: Intern - Engineer Job Code: 120177JOB SUMMARY A student participating in on-the-job training, providing opportunities to gain knowledge and experience in a field of study. Performs planned supervised work assignments.LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY Responsibilities are varied but related to primary focus of job area. May work outside area of assigned duties. Routine duties based on detailed instruction. Works under direct supervision. Responds to routine questions and problems within standards and guides. Refers complex issues to higher levels.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Assists in performing scheduled routine maintenance, preventative maintenance and equipment repairs. • Works closely with technicians to troubleshoot and analyze equipment related issues. • Prepares reports to track and control inventory. • Observes all safety requirements and actively participates in company safety initiatives. • Identifies, reports and takes immediate actions to correct unsafe conditions. REQUIREMENTS • Enrolled in a technical related field at a university or technical program.WORKING CONDITIONS • May require travel to company facilities including compression stations, measurement facilities, and plants. • These assignments may require occasional lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, or working above ground on irregular surfaces and considerable walking. • May require to work overtime as needed. • Required to work in both an office environment and in outside weather conditions.
