About the role#

The Market Intelligence Intern will support the ongoing monitoring and analysis of energy market dynamics. This role focuses on synthesizing regulatory, policy, technical, and financial data to inform and refine strategic project development planning at OCI Energy.

What you'll do#

• Conduct ongoing surveillance of energy market dynamics to identify emerging shifts and trends.
• Analyze market data to uncover opportunities, challenges, and competitive threats.
• Monitor regulatory changes and legislative actions to interpret their impact on the renewable energy sector.
• Provide actionable insights to shape and evolve company strategy.
• Generate detailed reports and presentations that communicate research findings and strategic implications.
• Support project development planning by integrating technical market nuances and financial factors such as tariffs and incentives.
• Engage with industry stakeholders and collaborate across departments to ensure aligned market analysis.

What you'll need#

• Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Environmental Engineering, Political Science, Statistics, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Exposure to market intelligence or analytics roles.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong research and analytical abilities with the capacity to convey complex recommendations clearly.
• Familiarity with the regulatory and legislative environment of the renewable energy sector.
• Ability to work as a self-starter and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
