About the role#
The Land Outreach Intern supports our project development team by identifying and engaging with landowners for solar and energy storage projects. You will assist with market research, data management, and the land leasing process to help advance our development activities.
What you'll do#
- Use public records, research tools, and online resources to locate prospective landowners and gather site information.
- Create background profiles on properties and landowners to assist with acquisition efforts.
- Contact landowners to introduce our projects and discuss potential lease opportunities.
- Conduct research to support outreach strategies and project development.
- Organize outreach materials and maintain accurate records of landowner communications.
- Update databases regarding property, market, and landowner information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Geography, Political Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.
- Experience or coursework in market research, analytics, renewable energy, or real estate is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
