About the role#
Nuovo Artistic Photography is looking for a Collections Intern to support our finance team. You will work on collections processes, client communication, and financial operations across our US and Canada markets. This is a full-time, on-site internship running from January 11th to April 30th, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and respond to emails regarding collection matters.
- Reach out to clients to discuss outstanding balances and payment arrangements.
- Generate, review, and issue invoices using our internal billing systems.
- Keep customer account information accurate across all financial platforms.
- Investigate and resolve issues with failed, declined, or returned payments.
- Update and manage customer payment methods and financing arrangements.
- Provide general administrative and reporting support to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program for Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- An interest in collections and a desire to learn.
- Familiarity with billing or accounting systems is an asset.
- Fluency in English, French, and Spanish is considered a strong asset.
