About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support the Northwell Health Foundation, the fundraising arm of the organization. Interns perform administrative staff work to assist with research and review projects that focus on department operations and hospital policies and procedures.
What you'll do#
- Collect and prepare data relevant to department initiatives.
- Assist in studies to evaluate the efficiency, economy, and effectiveness of hospital operations and policies.
- Support management in the facilitation of new programs and procedures.
- Perform related administrative duties as required.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior.
- Major in philanthropy, nonprofit management, business, public administration, or a related field.
- Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

- Location: New Hyde Park, New York.
- Term: Summer 2026 (June through August).
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Note: This position is unpaid and does not offer a stipend for lodging, travel, or meals.
