About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support research and review projects centered on hospital policies, procedures, and department operations. This is an unpaid, part-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Perform administrative staff work to support department research and review projects.
- Collect and prepare data relevant to departmental initiatives.
- Assist in studies evaluating the efficiency, economy, and effectiveness of hospital operations and procedures.
- Support management in the facilitation of new programs and procedures.
- Perform additional related duties as required.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate junior, senior, or graduate student in Public Health, Health Sciences, Community Health, Healthcare Management, Health Administration, or Psychology.
- Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
