Engineering Internship

About the role#

Northwell Health is seeking an Engineering Intern to support research and review projects, with a specific focus on 3D printing initiatives. This role involves performing administrative staff work to assist in the evaluation of hospital policies, procedures, and department operations.

What you'll do#

• Collect and prepare data relevant to departmental projects.
• Assist in studies designed to evaluate the efficiency, economy, and effectiveness of hospital operations and procedures.
• Support management in the facilitation of new programs and processes.
• Perform additional related duties as required.

What you'll need#

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment as an undergraduate (sophomore, junior, or senior) or graduate student in an engineering program. Eligible majors include Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

• Location: Manhasset, New York.
• Term: Summer 2026 (June through August).
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Part-time, 30 hours per week.
• Note: This position does not provide a stipend for lodging, travel, or meal expenses.
