About the role#

This Administrative Internship involves performing staff work to support research and review projects focused on hospital policies, procedures, and departmental operations. This is a full-time, on-site position running from June 2026 through August 2026.

What you'll do#

Collect and prepare data relevant to departmental work.
Assist in studies designed to evaluate the efficiency, economy, and effectiveness of hospital operations and policies.
Support management in the facilitation of new programs and procedures.
Perform related administrative duties as required.

What you'll need#

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Location & details#

Locations: Lake Success, NY and Riverhead, NY.
Term: Summer 2026 (June through August).
Modality: On-site, full-time.
Note: This is an unpaid internship. No stipend is provided for lodging, travel, or meal expenses.
