About the role#
NorthPoint Development offers an internship program designed to immerse students in real estate and development. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Detroit. You will work on meaningful projects and build skills relevant to your future career.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project due diligence, including market research and preliminary budgeting.
- Track development schedules and update timelines for key milestones.
- Coordinate and gather bids for pre-construction activities.
- Support permit applications and organize documentation for approvals.
- Contribute to project reporting and participate in team meetings.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail.
- You are energetic, resourceful, and eager to learn in a hands-on environment.
- Ability to approach problems both logically and creatively.
- Comfort working independently and as part of a team.
