Software Engineer Intern

About the role#

The Software Engineer Intern will assist in the design and development of Nextech software products. Working under the guidance of senior team members, you will contribute to building software solutions while gaining experience in a professional development environment.

What you'll do#

• Build software within a SCRUM environment using C#, SQL, and Angular.
• Participate in daily software development best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with team members, scrum masters, and product owners to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Perform mutual code reviews to maintain code standards.
• Assist with additional engineering duties as assigned.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Knowledge of C#, Angular, and SQL.
• Understanding of full-stack development approaches.
• Interest in developing robust, scalable micro-service back ends.
• Ability to write clean, testable code and a commitment to software usability.
• Strong personal drive and an appreciation for open, constructive communication within a team.

Location & details#

• Term: Summer 2026 (June 2 – August 7).
• Modality: Remote.
• Status: Paid internship, up to 28 hours per week.
