Software Engineer Intern

About the role#

The Software Engineer Intern will assist in the design and development of the Nextech product suite. Working under the direction of senior team members, you will contribute to software projects within a SCRUM environment. This position is designed for students early in their careers to gain experience in healthcare technology development.

What you'll do#

• Build software using C#, SQL, and Angular within a SCRUM framework.
• Participate in mutual code reviews to ensure high-quality, clean code.
• Collaborate with team members, scrum masters, and product owners.
• Apply software development best practices daily.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you'll need#

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or Cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of C#, Angular, and SQL.
• Understanding of a full-stack development approach.
• Interest in developing robust, scalable micro-service back ends.
• Interest in building zero-downtime deployments through coding innovation.
• Drive to develop skills in a collaborative environment.

Location & details#

• Term: Summer 2026 (June 2nd – August 7th).
• Modality: Remote.
• Commitment: Paid internship, up to 28 hours per week.
• Selection Process: Includes a one-way video interview, a skill-based assessment, a hiring manager interview, and a panel interview.
