About the role#
NexBreak Venture is seeking a Growth Engineer Intern to ideate, validate, and launch AI-native products from concept to early traction. This is a 0 to 1 builder position focused on engineering the growth mechanics that transform prototypes into scalable businesses. You will be responsible for driving measurable traction through technical execution.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and ship technical growth mechanisms, including acquisition funnels, onboarding flows, viral loops, activation triggers, and monetization experiments.
- Build lightweight analytics and experimentation infrastructure, such as tracking, A/B testing, and cohort analysis, to measure performance and iterate quickly.
- Rapidly prototype and test growth hypotheses across new AI products.
- Handoff successful growth mechanics to product teams for further development.
What you'll need#
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in growth engineering, software engineering, or a technical product, growth, GTM, or monetization role.
- Strong, hands-on coding ability in Python, SQL, and JS, along with familiarity with growth and analytics tooling.
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to translate experiment data into clear recommendations.
- A founder's mindset, builder's mentality, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Data Science, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering.
