Growth Engineer Intern

About the role#

The NexBreak Venture team is seeking a Growth Engineer Intern to ideate, validate, and launch AI-native products. This is a 0→1 builder position focused on engineering growth mechanics that transform prototypes into scalable businesses. You will be responsible for driving measurable traction through technical execution.

What you'll do#

• Design, build, and ship technical growth mechanisms, including acquisition funnels, onboarding flows, referral loops, activation triggers, and monetization experiments.
• Implement lightweight analytics and experimentation infrastructure, such as tracking, A/B testing, and cohort analysis, to measure performance and iterate quickly.
• Rapidly prototype and test growth hypotheses across new AI products.
• Handoff successful growth mechanics to product teams for further development.

What you'll need#

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is considered a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in growth engineering, software engineering, or a technical product, GTM, or monetization role.
• Strong, hands-on coding ability with proficiency in Python, SQL, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with growth and analytics tooling.
• A founder's mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to translate experiment data into clear recommendations for decision-makers.
