About the role#
The Page Six Column Intern role offers a hands-on experience in the media industry. You will join the PageSix team to contribute to stories on celebrity news, pop culture, and entertainment. This internship runs for 10 weeks, from September 14, 2026, to November 20, 2026. The position is open to current juniors, seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates who finished their degree within the past year.
What you'll do#
- Brainstorm and pitch ideas for breaking news, features, and photo galleries with the team.
- Write stories about pop culture, celebrity news, and entertainment trends.
- Support reporters by handling administrative tasks like research and transcribing.
- Monitor trending topics in the celebrity world to keep the team informed.
What you'll need#
- Strong news judgment and the ability to prioritize important stories.
- Excellent writing skills to create engaging content.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- A genuine interest in celebrity culture and entertainment.
- Awareness of emerging stories and trends in the entertainment world.
- Pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, English, Political Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or Psychology.

- This is an on-site position based at our office in Midtown Manhattan, New York.
- The role is part-time at 24 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship at $20 per hour.
