About the role#
Navier is seeking an MBA Intern to support strategy, product, and growth initiatives. This part-time position involves collaborating with leadership on high-impact projects across strategy, business development, and operations. The role offers hands-on experience at a Series A startup focused on sustainable maritime mobility.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market research and competitive analyses to identify emerging opportunities in maritime, mobility, and adjacent industries.
- Support financial modeling and analyses to evaluate new business opportunities and potential partnerships.
- Assist with product research, including technical and market positioning.
- Prepare strategic presentations and decks for internal stakeholders, investors, and external partners.
- Collaborate with leadership on projects across strategy, business development, and operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program or a relevant advanced degree, such as Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or Operations Management.
- At least 3 years of full-time experience in consulting, venture capital, finance, or a related field.
- Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, including experience preparing professional-grade decks.
- Prior experience in the mobility, transportation, or maritime sectors is a strong advantage.
Location & details#
- This is a remote-friendly position, with occasional opportunities to engage on-site in Alameda, California, depending on project needs.
- The role is part-time, averaging approximately 6 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship. Compensation includes base salary and benefits, such as PTO, sick time, 401k, and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
