    About the role#

    As BAND is used by many school districts, this role focuses on helping schools adopt the platform safely and smoothly. You will support the intake process for district data privacy requests, guide administrators through our school portal, and maintain communication regarding safe usage. You will also assist in researching new markets, including franchise and community groups, by conducting user interviews and creating supporting content. You will work closely with product, support, and marketing teams to share insights gained from school and community interactions.

    What you'll do#

    • Manage compliance requests by logging, categorizing, and tracking incoming district data privacy agreements and security questionnaires.
    • Prepare requests for review by summarizing requirements and flagging non-standard items.
    • Build and maintain a library of standard responses for compliance inquiries.
    • Onboard school administrators to the BAND school portal and coordinate email programs focused on safety and best practices.
    • Keep help center content and FAQs updated.
    • Review app store ratings, respond to user reviews using established guidelines, and coordinate BAND for Kids account inquiries.
    • Monitor group leader communities, answer questions, and create regular feedback digests for the product and support teams.
    • Research franchise and youth organization segments and recruit participants for user interviews.
    • Produce content such as one-pagers, case studies, demo decks, and social posts.
    • Assist with product demos and preparation for conferences and partner meetings.

    What you'll need#

    • A bachelor's degree in progress or recently completed.
    • Excellent written English and a steady, professional tone when handling feedback.
    • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple open threads.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with adults via email, video, and in person.
    • A self-directed work style.
    • Prior internship experience in software, edtech, or B2B settings is preferred.
    • Fluency in written and spoken Korean.
    • Familiarity with K-12 or youth sports environments.
    • Experience with compliance, legal operations, contracts, or policy.
    • Comfort using content tools like Canva, Figma, and video editing software, as well as CRM and project tracking tools.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid internship at $30 per hour.
    • The role is based in El Segundo, California, with a hybrid work arrangement.
    • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, as sponsorship is not available.
