    About the role#

    As an Air Traffic Management (ATM) Engineering Student, you will support the development and engineering of Air Traffic Control systems. You will work on Radar Display and Flight Information systems while gaining experience in programing, system engineering, and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

    What you'll do#

    • Develop and enhance software using C, C++, Python, and JavaScript.
    • Perform data analysis and system testing.
    • Create test plans, procedures, and scripts.
    • Support life cycle activities for current systems and lab environments.
    • Work both individually and within a SAFe team.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a degree program for Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Eligibility for a COOP placement in Winter 2027.
    • A good understanding of programming, operating systems, and networking.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • You must be legally able to work in Canada and meet security requirements.

    • Location: Ottawa, Ontario.
    • Term: Winter 2027 (January to April).
    • Modality: Hybrid (3 days per week at the Technical Services Centre).
    • Employment type: Full time.
