NHC Scott offers a state-certified nurse aide training program for individuals interested in pursuing a career in senior care. This program is a 2-week course designed to prepare students for certification and potential employment within the facility.
What you'll do#
- Attend the 10-day (80-hour) training program.
- Purchase and wear one set of scrubs daily for both classroom instruction and clinical rotations.
- Maintain a grade average of at least 80 throughout the course to remain enrolled.
- Upon successful completion, candidates may be considered for employment based on facility needs, shift availability, candidate flexibility, work history, and performance.
What you'll need#
- A completed application.
- Valid photo identification.
- A Social Security card.
- Commitment to perfect attendance and punctuality, as no absences or tardiness are permitted during the 2-week course.
