NHC Oakwood offers a training program for individuals looking to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). This program prepares students to participate in the State Certified Nurse Aide Training Program. Upon successful completion of the course, participants may be considered for employment opportunities within the facility.
What you'll do#
- Attend a mandatory 10-day training course.
- Maintain 100% attendance and punctuality throughout the duration of the program.
- Maintain a minimum grade average of 75 to remain in the course.
- Participate in all required clinical training.
- Purchase one set of scrubs to be worn daily during class and clinical sessions.
What you'll need#
- Completed application.
- Valid photo identification.
- Social Security card.
- Successful clearance of a criminal background check and registry review for abuse of children and adults.
- Note: Candidates with felony convictions or certain misdemeanor charges are not eligible for admission.
