About the role#
This position offers an opportunity to train as a professional semi-driver through an internal program. You will receive one-on-one training with a professional trainer while working full-time. During the training period, you will earn wages as a forklift operator. This is a full-time role with no weekend work required.
What you'll do#
- Undergo training to become a professional semi-driver.
- Operate a forklift while completing training requirements.
- Drive well-maintained day cab trucks.
What you'll need#
- Minimum 21 years of age is strongly preferred.
- Obtain a CDL A Instructional Permit within the first 30 days of employment.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and lifting assessment.
- Maintain a satisfactory driving and work record.
- Willingness to obtain hazmat and tanker endorsements after earning your CDL.
- Preferred academic backgrounds include Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Criminal Justice.
