About the role#
This position offers an internal training program for individuals seeking to become professional semi-drivers. You will work full-time while receiving one-on-one training from a professional instructor. The role provides an opportunity to earn wages while learning to operate a well-maintained truck.
What you'll do#
- Undergo training to become a professional semi-driver.
- Earn full-time wages as a forklift operator while undergoing training.
- Operate well-maintained day cab trucks.
- Work a full-time schedule with no weekend work.
What you'll need#
- Minimum age of 21 years is strongly preferred.
- Obtain a CDL A instructional permit within the first 30 days of employment.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and lifting assessment.
- Maintain a satisfactory driving and work record.
- Willingness to obtain hazmat and tanker endorsements after earning your CDL.
