About the role#
As an L&D Operational Coordinator Co-op, you will support our Learning & Development team in West Point. This role focuses on the daily training operations that keep our teams compliant and ready to manufacture products safely. You will work on projects that improve our training delivery methods over a period of up to 6 months.
What you'll do#
- Process training requests through our portal, including assigning courses and updating curricula.
- Track training completion within our Learning Management System (LMS).
- Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in the LMS to ensure accuracy.
- Create simple how-to guides and documentation.
- Test new digital learning tools to improve training effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, specifically in Business Administration or Human Resources.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- High attention to detail regarding database management and document formatting.
- Digital fluency and systems aptitude.
- Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and filters.
- Intermediate proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience with Microsoft SharePoint or managing team spaces in MS Teams.
- Preferred: Exposure to business tools like Power BI for interpreting compliance data.
- Preferred: Ability to translate complex tasks into clear documentation like Job Aids or User Manuals.
- Preferred: A proactive, self-motivated approach to working both independently and in teams.
