About the role#
The Construction Technologies Intern supports technology and field enablement efforts across active projects. You will gain hands-on exposure to jobsite workflows, system implementations, training, and operational data management. Working alongside the Construction Technology team, you will help bridge the gap between field execution and technology systems while building foundational skills in project management software.
What you'll do#
- Participate in field visits to active construction sites to observe workflows and understand how technology supports real-world operations.
- Assist with implementation efforts for construction management platforms, including site readiness, testing, and go-live coordination.
- Participate in training sessions and assist with training coordination, note-taking, and the creation of content like job aids and how-to guides.
- Support evaluations and demonstrations of new software by attending demos, consulting with stakeholders, and preparing feature comparisons.
- Help document issues and resolve support requests while learning troubleshooting workflows.
- Maintain and validate reports and dashboards to track system adoption and usage trends.
- Perform operational data cleanup and validation activities to ensure data integrity within project management systems.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Exposure to construction project management systems such as Procore, CMiC, or Autodesk.
- An interest in construction technology, field enablement, system adoption, and process improvement.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, field personnel, and stakeholders.
