The Construction Technologies Intern supports technology and field enablement efforts across active projects. This role provides hands-on exposure to jobsite workflows, system implementations, training support, and operational data management throughout the construction lifecycle. You will work alongside the Construction Technology team to assist with platform adoption, field engagement, and data integrity initiatives that bridge field execution with technology systems.
What you'll do#
- Participate in field visits to active construction sites to observe workflows and understand how technology is applied in the field.
- Assist with implementation efforts for construction management platforms, including site readiness, testing, and go-live coordination.
- Support evaluations and demonstrations of new software solutions by coordinating schedules, attending demos, and preparing feature comparisons and summary recommendations.
- Participate in training sessions and assist with training coordination, content creation, and the development of job aids and how-to guides.
- Support operational data cleanup and validation activities to ensure data quality and reporting reliability within project management systems.
- Assist with tier-1 ticketing by documenting issues, drafting proposed solutions, and learning troubleshooting workflows.
- Maintain and refresh reports and dashboards to track system usage, adoption trends, and operational insights.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Construction Management, or Information Systems / IT.
- Exposure to construction project management systems such as Procore, CMiC, or Autodesk.
- A strong interest in construction technology, field enablement, system adoption, and process improvement.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical teams and field personnel.
