About the role#
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst Practicum at Mosaic Pediatric Therapy is a full-time position designed for individuals pursuing their BCBA certification. This program allows you to balance direct service hours with supervised fieldwork to meet your certification requirements. Upon successful certification, you will be offered a BCBA position at one of our clinics in your region.
What you'll do#
- Engage in applied practice opportunities across varied clinical areas, including assessments, parent training, and supervision sessions.
- Implement ABA interventions and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for children with autism.
- Collect data and analyze client progress to optimize treatment plans.
- Attend group supervision sessions to learn from experienced clinicians and connect with other students.
- Collaborate with families and the Mosaic team to ensure consistent treatment implementation.
- Assist in behavioral assessments and support other RBTs and staff.
- Complete student units, fieldwork hours, and BCBA mock exams as assigned.
What you'll need#
- RBT Certification with over 1000 hours of supervised practicum experience toward your BCBA certification.
- Completion of a master’s degree or anticipated completion within the next 6 months.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for helping children with autism thrive.
- A desire to learn and grow in clinical skills.
