About the role#
Moore Colson is hiring an Assurance Intern for the Summer 2028 term. This internship provides hands-on experience in public accounting and auditing. You will work alongside experienced professionals in our Atlanta office from June through August 2028.
What you'll do#
- Prepare financial statements and disclosures based on GAAP.
- Document and test internal controls.
- Support Senior Associates with audit tasks and projects.
- Contribute to audit, review, and compilation engagements.
- Assist with research and consulting work.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor degree in Accounting.
- Pursuit of a CPA license is preferred.
- Up to 2 years of experience in audit or public accounting.
- Proficiency in Excel and audit software.
- Experience with CCH Pro fx and IDEA is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a focus on client service.
- A willingness to travel.

- This role is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
