About the role#
This is a full-time, temporary internship position based in Grenada, Mississippi, for the Fall 2026 term. You will support Modine product manufacturing with a focus on the costing of production processes, materials, and capital equipment.
What you'll do#
- Complete projects related to various engineering activities.
- Review the Production New Product Release process and complete labor routings.
- Improve engineering tools and processes for better efficiency.
- Conduct plant labor audits and time studies.
- Work with Modine production systems in SAP.
- Assist with product quotations.
- Review and purchase tooling and equipment.
- Manage project timelines and maintain APQP process documentation.
- Collaborate with team members on problem-solving activities.
What you'll need#
- Senior standing in an Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree program.
- Strong engineering and computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- A self-motivated attitude and a desire to learn.
- Strong decision-making skills and a mechanical aptitude.
- A commitment to quality and safety standards.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team.
