About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to explore business operations within Modigent. You will work under the direct supervision of a department manager for a 12-week period. The role focuses on expanding your professional knowledge through practical experience and exposure to various practices within the HVAC department.
What you'll do#
- Shadow team members to learn technical skills and industry procedures.
- Assist with clerical, administrative, and general support duties.
- Participate in work teams to contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Propose ideas and solutions to address challenges or improve current processes.
- Complete tasks assigned by your supervisor to build your understanding of the field.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college program with relevant coursework.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data from various sources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across functional units.
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Knowledge of the facilities or construction industry is a plus.
