    About the role#

    This is an 8-month co-op position based in Ottawa. You will work with project teams to support operations, manage schedules, and assist with document control. This role provides exposure to real-world construction projects and allows you to work alongside project managers, coordinators, and forepersons.

    What you'll do#

    • Gather information and support reporting for project managers.
    • Manage site contract document control.
    • Coordinate project priorities and activities with general contractors.
    • Attend and participate in meetings with clients and subcontractors.
    • Help monitor and manage construction schedules.
    • Serve as a point of contact between office personnel and field staff.
    • Assist the project team with additional tasks as required.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a university degree or college diploma program for Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel.
    • Ability to work effectively in both office and on-site environments.
    • A team-oriented, reliable, and punctual approach.
    • Previous co-op or internship experience is an asset.
    • Familiarity with the construction industry or mechanical systems is helpful.
    • A Working at Heights Certificate is preferred, though training can be provided.

    • Location: Ottawa, Ontario.
    • Modality: On-site and hybrid.
    • Employment: Full-time, 8-month term.
    • Compensation: $23 - $25 per hour.
