About the role#
The Electrical Project Coordinator Co-op supports the delivery of electrical construction projects. You will assist Project Managers, Site Superintendents, and project teams with coordination, document control, procurement, and scheduling. This role provides hands-on exposure to project delivery and helps ensure projects meet company standards.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support to project teams and site staff.
- Organize and distribute project drawings, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
- Support procurement by creating and tracking purchase orders for suppliers and subcontractors.
- Assist with change order management, project logs, and general correspondence.
- Maintain project filing systems and document control processes.
- Support forecasting, scheduling updates, and reporting requirements.
- Prepare project start-up documentation and closeout packages.
- Attend meetings to prepare minutes and track action items.
- Participate in site visits to gain exposure to field operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Power Engineering, or a related program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in both office and construction site settings.
- Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
- Previous construction, field, or co-op experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical building systems or construction drawings is a plus.
- Experience with project management, scheduling, or estimating software is an asset.

- Term: Winter 2027 (8-12 month term).

- Compensation: $23 - $25 per hour.
