About the role#
This externship offers hands-on experience in a professional veterinary setting. You will work alongside veterinarians and technicians to apply your classroom learning to real-world cases. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Assist the medical team with patient care.
- Observe a variety of clinical procedures.
- Perform technical tasks under the direct supervision of experienced staff.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to support daily operations.
- Help with patient intake and discharge processes.
- Learn established clinical protocols.
- Practice effective communication with your team members.

- Current enrollment in a veterinary technician program.
