About the role#
The Accounting Intern supports the daily operations of the finance team at Mishimoto. You will report to a Senior Accountant and assist with financial data, reporting, and ledger maintenance. This position provides hands-on experience in a professional office environment.
What you'll do#
- Manage accounts payable and receivable tasks, such as invoice entry, payment processing, and reconciliation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries.
- Help maintain the general ledger to ensure financial records remain accurate.
- Prepare financial reports, summaries, and presentations for management.
- Conduct research on financial data, trends, and variances as directed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Accounting or Finance.
- Experience through internships, part-time work, or relevant coursework.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and basic formulas.
- Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks or NetSuite.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

- The role is based in Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania.
